없는 것에 기댈 수는 없으니까

그곳엔 태초부터 무언가 있었던 거야

그러니까 바라는 것이 없어도

기대하기를 멈추면 안 돼.

헤엄을 멈추면 죽는 상어처럼

오로지 살기 위해 살아야만 해.

왜냐고는 물어보지 마,

지금은 기도하는 시간이야.
